Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming, in-process components, and final products, ensuring compliance with quality
standards and regulatory requirements.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing products and report results.
Maintain inspection records and documentation.
Monitor and manage vendor performance, rejection reports, and production accountability.
Work on a PC to update, save, and retrieve files.
Adhere to company's quality management system (QMS) and related policies, procedures, and standards.
Perform internal audits, conduct Gemba walks, and generate reports for findings.
Handle nonconforming materials and initiate corrective actions.
Operation and maintenance of measuring test equipment.
Run statistical studies to evaluate quality performance.
Approve product shipments after inspection.
Address customer quality concerns and assist in providing solutions.
Implement the organization's quality standards and procedures.
Assist in the development of new methods for improving production techniques to
ensure high quality outputs.
Utilize Excel and ERP systems for reporting and analytics.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required
Associate's degree required.
2-5 years of experience in ISO 9001-certified electronics production environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
Must have knowledge of proper handling of electronic components using ESD procedures.
Must be proficient with various gauges for inspection and measuring.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to provide regular reports.
Computer literacy is essential and a primary function of this role.
Soldering of electronic components, PCBA, and SMT experience is a plus.
Proven working knowledge of standard QA processes, inspections, documentation, and criteria.
Understanding proper escalation procedures and adherence to policy and procedure.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems
Understanding of electronic components, assemblies, and production processes
Familiarity with inspection techniques (e.g., visual, mechanical, functional)
Proficiency in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters)
Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and document management systems
Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to identify and document quality issues with accuracy and detail
Ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks with a high degree of precision
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with production and engineering teams
Ability to analyze trends and recommend quality improvements
